2027 Self and Identity Preconference at SPSP
The Self & Identity Preconference provides a forum for discussion and investigation of the complexity of the individual and the collective self. This year’s
preconference introduces a special focus on the roles our identities play in collective social problems. This preconference will explore the roles of our identities and of identity-related
processes in helping and hindering us from addressing today’s most pressing issues, such as prejudice and discrimination, authoritarianism, misinformation, climate change, polarization, and other
contentious social issues. In addition to speakers, the preconference will also include addresses by scholarly award winners, a poster session, an early-career data blitz, and a mentoring/networking
session.

- Tonglin Jiang (Peking University; Outstanding Early Career Award Address)
We are accepting poster and data blitz submissions from September 3 to October 8. Click here to submit.
